Elizabeth Ann Johnson,
Soprano
Elizabeth Ann Johnson grew up in Seattle, WA. She was raised in a musical family and moved to Massachusetts to study music at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. After receiving her Masters' Degrees in Vocal Performance and Opera Performance, she worked steadily as a singer and voice teacher. She sings in operatic, classical, musical theater and pop styles. Her teaching focus is on training developing voices and adults. Many of her serious students have gone on to study music, or musical theater at schools such as Wagner College, Berklee College of Music, University of Maryland, and the Univeristy of Michigan. She teaches private lessons and group voice class to young singers, teens and adults, and has conducted adult choir and children's choir. She most recently taught at the Concord Conservatory of Music in Concord, MA and the Yamaha Music School of Boston, in Lexington, MA. After 27 years on the east coast, she decided to move back to the west coast to be closer to family. She is a dedicated teacher and seeks to bring out the best in her students.
